Bespoke Jewellery Design
Going bespoke means that your ideas, requirements and budgets are central to the design process. You will end up with a piece of jewellery unique to you and perfect for your needs.
Starting Point
Each bespoke piece of jewellery starts with a conversation. Jodie begins each design with an informal chat about your early ideas, personal taste, and vision for the finished product. This conversation can take place face to face, over the phone or via email so your location does not matter - Jodie has worked with customers all over the world.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and she can guide you through the process over a coffee. Jodie will explain any jewellery jargon in a clear, unpretentious manner. The aim is to design a unique piece that suits the individual lifestyle and taste of the eventual owner.
Jodie has a beautiful drawing style that helps bring your ideas to life during the consultation. Once we have established a design you are happy with, Jodie can draw up a full-colour illustration of the final design.
Production
Once you are happy with the final design, we will order the materials for your piece of jewellery. Jodie sources stones and metal from ethical and trusted sources, but will also work with your existing material if you would like to rework an existing piece of jewellery.
Your new stunning design is brought to life by a master goldsmith to ensure a remarkable finished product. Once completed, your new bespoke jewellery is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for quality assurance.
Finishing Touches
On return from hallmarking, Jodie will check and polish the finished item, which is then presented in a beautiful JG branded jewellery box ready for a lifetime of enjoyment.
To ensure your jewellery arrives safely, we can post the finished item using an insured and tracked service. Or, if you prefer, we will arrange a collection time to suit.
Congratulations! You're now the proud owner of a truly unique bespoke design that you helped bring to life.
Case Study:
Ryan and Caity's Rose and White Gold Wedding Rings
Ryan came to me to design Caity’s engagement ring last year. As he’s based in Canada, we did all the designing via email and Skype. He had a good idea of what she liked so was confident to design it as a surprise. The end result was this stunning platinum, and 18ct rose gold ring with a diamond cluster setting.
